Let them put a few things straight. The Cholesterol theory is flawed.

The originator did not have things right but leading Scientists of Today do.

The Cholesterol Myth by Dr Kristine Soly

Kristine will enlighten you about the Real Cause of Heart concerns as she recounts her training in Medical school and different training she has had since that time. You should hear this!

New Light on Cholesterol and Heart

Recently, I discovered that Cholesterol is not really the culprit of so many heart attacks and disease from a well respected pioneer in the Medical Profession that almost cost him his career when he first came out with his findings_ his peers ridiculed him for his work but later (more recently) have come to respect him a great deal. It has been my absolute privilege in my work in recent years to discover the writings of PIONEERS IN THE MEDICAL AND NATURAL HEALTH PROFESSION WHO PRESENT TRULY ASTONISHING DISCOVERIES AND SOLUTIONS.

Read this Site carefully if you have a health concern and are in need of answers.

More than 30 years ago, a young Harvard pathologist by the name of Kilmore S McCully offered the medical community a theory for the cause of one of today's biggest killers-- heart disease. It is called the Homocysteine Theory and is the medical breakthrough that inspired Dr Andrew Weil (well known Health Advocate on the Net with Sound Medical Advice) to label Dr. McCully as a visionary medical pioneer well ahead of his time. Homocysteine, a byproduct of metabolism, has been discovered to be a better risk indicator of heart disease than high cholesterol. A simple B6 vitamin and Folic Acid (balanced with other B Complex) play a major role in controlling homocysteine levels. This proven theory

will change the way the Medical Establishment views and treats heart disease.

World Renown Heart Surgeon Speaks Out On What Really Causes Heart Disease

Today, part of the medical community is beginning to accept Dr. McCully's findings.... transforming his story from medical heresy to legitimate medicine. He challenges the long-held assumptions that lowering cholesterol is the key to preventing heart disease…. explains how eating vitamin B-rich food can control homocysteine levels….and reveals how food processing and additives compromise our health. He also exposes the politics within the medical community and the pharmaceutical industry….... and explains how costly cholesterol-lowering medicines can actually harm our health. In the 1970s, when his work commenced, pharmaceutical houses were making huge profits on cholesterol-lowering drugs and still are! You may want to read the Alarming Medications page.

Dr. Miller, a professor of surgery, cardiothoracic division, Univ. Washington, is another Expert on the subject, exposing the FAT - CHOLESTEROL - CARDIO MYTH and writes frequently for

He also has made a YouTube Video called Enjoy eating more Saturated Fats: They're Good for You. All the Real Facts can be found on his video. Remember not to get too fat happy if you watch the video, because too much can contribute to weight gain AND toxins in our diet are stored in Fat Cells. Remember that the people Dr Miller tells us about who have high fat diets in some countries and have healthy cardio-health have lots of exercise.

Caution: Watch the video only if you have a strong stomach for details.

In this Age of Information we must be careful of two things__ Misinformation and Over-Correction where some professionals fail to Balance their Information with necessary knowledge and wisdom for Overall Health.

His Books_ The Homocysteine Revolution: Medicine for the New Millennium.... and........The Heart Revolution: The Vitamin B Breakthrough that Lowers Homocysteine, cuts your Risk of Heart Disease, and Protects your Health....are available Online through Amazon and ABE Books. They are well worth reading!

Margarines, Vegetable Oils, Trans Fats

We have all been told that we should avoid fat. The fact is, the right fats can make you leaner. Eating the wrong kinds of fat will not only make you fat but contribute to a variety of other diseases and health issues, as well as premature aging. Contrary to popular belief, unhealthy fats are mostly trans fats and vegetable oils --not cholesterol and saturated fats, as we have been led to believe.

Trans fats and refined vegetable oils are finally starting to get notice for being the villains of the health problems that they cause. It is these fats that are the primary contributors to inflammation, cancer, heart disease and obesity; not cholesterol and saturated fats.

Eating trans fats is known to change your cell membranes and cause them to become brittle and unable to properly metabolize nutrients and calories.

Think about that internal damage next time you consider eating those French fries, donuts, or fried chicken, and you are more likely to change your mind.

In spite of the dangers of trans fats, they are still found in many processed and baked foods: cookies, crackers, cake icing, snack chips etc

The fats in our diet changed drastically in the early 1900‘s, when refined vegetable oil, a major source of omega 6 fatty acids, entered the diet as margarine, and healthy omega 3 fatty acid food consumption in foods such as wild-caught fish, grass-fed beef, wild game, and green, leafy vegetables decreased.

Highly Accomplished Researcher Puts the Record Straight

He gives us an accurate account of how cholesterol was

mistaken as the culprit and proves it false!

Dr. Kummerow, now 100 years old, is still an active researcher and writer. He published four papers in the past two years alone. Some of his most recent research shows that there are two types of fats in our diet responsible for the formation of heart disease:

  1. Trans fat found in partially hydrogenated oil. Structurally, trans fats are synthetic fatty acids; 14 of them are produced during the hydrogenation process. (They are not present in either animal or vegetable fats.) Trans fats prevent the synthesis of prostacyclin,7 which is necessary to keep your blood flowing. When your arteries cannot produce prostacyclin, blood clots form, and you may succumb to sudden death.
  2. Oxidized cholesterol forms when polyunsaturated vegetable oils (such as soybean, corn and sunflower oils) are heated. This oxidized cholesterol (not dietary cholesterol in and of itself) causes increased thromboxane formation—a factor that clots your blood. Two of Dr. Kummerow's papers pertain to how these oils harden your arteries and play an important role in the development of atherosclerosis. As reported by The New York Times:8 "The problem, [Dr. Kummerow] says, is not LDL, the "bad cholesterol"... What matters is whether the cholesterol and fat residing in those LDL particles have been oxidized...[He] contends that the high temperatures used in commercial frying cause inherently unstable polyunsaturated oils to oxidize, and that these oxidized fatty acids become a destructive part of LDL particles. Even when not oxidized by frying, soybean and corn oils can oxidize inside the body."

You Need Saturated Fats for Healthy Brain Function

Our ancestral diet was very high in saturated fats and virtually void of sugar and non-vegetable carbohydrates. Today, not only do most of us eat excessive amounts of carbohydrates, these carbs are refined and highly processed.

In the last decade, we've also shifted over to genetically engineered (GE) grains and sugar (GE sugar beets and corn), the long-term health effects of which have never been established.

This mistaken fat phobia has undoubtedly played a significant role in the dramatic rise in dementia and other neurological disorders, because your brain cannot function properly without fats. In fact, most people benefit from up to 50-85 percent of their daily calories in the form of fats for optimal health while they are seeking to resolve their insulin resistance.

Rethinking “Bad Cholesterol”: Is it actually a misunderstood “Good Healer”?

By Doug Wallace

Okay, this is one of those ones where in my heart modern medicine has it all wrong, but I have to present a digestible, concise case in the "Court of Wellness Readers" like yourself.Long story short, some progressive doctors and scientist are starting to break ranks from Money Driven Medicine and Pharmaceuticals and profess (often at risk of their jobs and medical practices) that so called LDL – "Bad Cholesterol" is actually a necessary healer, rushing into arteries to "patch up" or "shore up" artery walls, to fix other issues.

When you go to the doctor with high cholesterol you will get on a cholesterol statin lowering drug for the rest of your life. Dr. Sinatra says he would not put most people on statin drugs especially not women. The use of statin drugs can lead to many more serious conditions. Vitamin B3, also known as niacin, plays many vital metabolic roles:

It lowers harmful cholesterol levels while raising good (HDL) cholesterol, reducing the risk of heart disease. Some studies show a risk protective effect as the HDL level rises. Being sure to incorporate regular exercise will help raise HDL as well.

It may reduce the incidence of asthma-induced wheezing.

It may be helpful in treating or preventing atherosclerosis, second heart attacks, Alzheimer’s disease and osteoarthritis. (Dr Andrew Weil)

Soy‘s positive effects on cholesterol levels are questionable, say scientists.

In addition, studies in which cholesterol levels were lowered through either diet or drugs have actually resulted in a greater number of deaths in the treatment groups than in controls - deaths from stroke, cancer, intestinal disorders, accident and suicide.

Soy disrupts the digestive, immune and neuro-endocrine systems of the human body.

It should be obvious that soy is not a miracle food, and it certainly is not a health food!
