These are the TRUE Facts on SOY for You to Decide

Soy Dangers Summarized

VitaminB12 analogs in soy are not absorbed and actually increase the body's requirement for B12.

Soy foods increase the body's requirement for vitamin D.

Free Glutamic acid or MSG, a potent neurotoxin, is formed during soy food processing and additional amounts are added to many soy foods.

Soy foods contain high levels of aluminum which is toxic to the nervous system and the kidneys.

High levels of phytic acid in soy reduce assimilation of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc.

Phytic acid in soy is not neutralized by ordinary preparation methods such as soaking, sprouting and long, slow cooking. High phytate diets have caused growth problems in children.

Trypsin inhibitors in soy interfere with protein digestion and may cause pancreatic disorders. In test animals soy containing trypsin inhibitors caused stunted growth.

Soy phytoestrogens disrupt endocrine function and have the potential to cause infertility and to promote breast cancer in adult women.

Processingof Soy Protein (like TVP etc) results in the formation of toxic lysinoalanine and highly carcinogenic nitrosamines.

Has Hemagglutinin, a clot-promoting substance that causes your red blood cells to clump together. These clumped cells are unable to properly absorb and distribute oxygen to your tissues.

Soy Myths Exposed: The Dangers of Soy

Internationally renowned Natural Health Advocate and physician Dr Joseph M,ercola reveals the hidden dangers of Soy products in your diet. There are certain adverse affects of ingesting Soy on a regular basis.

Natural toxins known as "anti-nutrients" -- Soy also contains other anti-nutritional factors such as saponins, soyatoxin, protease inhibitors, and oxalates. Some of these factors interfere with the enzymes you need to digest protein. While a small amount of anti-nutrients would not likely cause a problem, the amount of soy that many Americans are now eating is extremely high. (Joseph Mercola)

In Conclusion: Health Manufacturers who sell Soy Powders, Concentrates and Isolates do not have your best interest at heart....and this includes phyto-estrogen products. Mind you, some are innocent and some "professionals" choose the path of blatant ignorance making comments like "there is for and against". There was an old school of thought that it's 'good for you' that dies slowly with those who refuse to be up-dated.....and yes, this includes some Nutritionists, Dieticians and Naturopaths.

The Soy Decoy: Don't Be Deceived - Keeper of the Home

Jun 28, 2010 - I know it goes against everything we hear these days about healthy eating, but I'm here today to tell you that I don't eat soy products, and I don't ...

Soy Beans are BAD for our HEALTH. They have nasty affects. They have Anti-Nutrient properties and they are sprayed with lots of Round Up - an extremely TOXIC chemical by Monsanto. Here the Verdict on Soy.

The Verdict on Soy!

Friends, there is no middle ground_ the Evidence is Concrete.

Soy will Save your Heart?

This could not be further than the truth.

A problem of great concern is that a soy-rich diet has no effect on preventing heart disease…at best. And experts have known it for years.

One independent lab study actually found that it directly worsens existing heart disease.

Bad for Women - Bad for Men

Soy can be a big No-No for men because over time some men have been feminized by it - losing the hair on their chests etc and growing boobs in some cases.

A new study is once again pushing soy on women…and this time they say the earlier you start eating it, the better. The Soy industry likes to push such ploys. Some women have developed breast-cancer. How can Soy be good for women when the very Isoflavins they promote are toxic to our Nervous System?

The Truth About Soy Milk

Is soy milk really good for you? You should find out!! Don't take a manufacturer's wod for it. Know the Facts for yourself.

Do be advised.

Most leading Natural Health Advocates (scientists, researchers and physicians) are strongly advising us against Soya Beans, Soya Milk, Soy Powders and Isolates, TVP and Tofu now. The case against them is strong in recent years, thanks to new knowledge, as you see above. With mounting evidence from case histories and vital statics info from those on Western Soy Diets – including some Asians who have adopted them – so-called ‘healthy soy’ is NOT Healthy for you at all. Of concern, there is now growing evidence of this reflecting through generations – from parent’s health to babies and children. If you are interested in your family’s health, you would be well advised to avoid this health masquerader and those who choose to promote it, as they have often sold their professional integrity to the Soy Industry. In that case, they are not professional at all. The TRUE Asian Diet does Include some FERMENTED SOY that is Not Genetically Modified (GMO) and the crops are not heavily sprayed with chemicals like notorious Round-Up. Don’t learn from the ignorant but learn from the wise!

Soy as health food? Think again! Only a few decades ago, the soybean (unfermented) was considered unfit to eat - even in Asia. Here, it has been touted as a ― health food.

The soybean was not considered as food until the discovery of fermentation techniques around 1027A.D. to 221 B.C. Soy as food was always in fermented form like tempeh, natto, miso and soy sauce.

Unfermented soy contains growth-suppressing agents. When the growth-blocking agents were lowered by fermenting, soy began as a dietary staple. But the soybean was always fermented first,

never eaten in its unfermented form.

Unfermented soybeans were never eaten because soybeans contains large quantities of natural toxins which are actually "anti-nutrients". These anti-nutrients block enzymes that are necessary for digestion and assimilation.

The natural toxins in soy can produce serious gastric distress and difficulties in digesting proteins

and amino acids.

Some of these natural toxins in soybeans are growth inhibitors, and since they block nutrient absorption, they should never be fed to children and babies.

Soybeans typically contain one of the highest phytate levels of any legume.

Only fermenting techniques will lower this nutrient blocker!

So then, if you are a vegetarian, eating tofu and soy products as a substitute for meat and protein will cause nutritional deficiencies. Not only does the risk of B12 deficiency go way up, but mineral deficiencies are common as well. Zinc, calcium, magnesium and iron deficiencies have all been noted but zinc deficiency is often the worst.

Soy‘s positive effects on cholesterol levels are questionable, say scientists.

In addition, studies in which cholesterol levels were lowered through either diet or drugs have actually resulted in a greater number of deaths in the treatment groups than in controls - deaths from stroke, cancer, intestinal disorders, accident and suicide.

Soy disrupts the digestive, immune and neuro-endocrine systems of the human body.

It should be obvious that soy is not a miracle food, and it certainly is not a health food!
