Sometimes with Health, there is a Paradox
with two schools of thought and experience/benefits
Milk is one of them, so I will present Both.
Dairy Goodness is Coming Back
Real Milk and Homemade is Best
Yes, Raw Milk from Grass Fed Dairy Cows is the way to go if you want the Benefits
because grass-fed cows are happy cows. That is their Natural Diet_ not grain crops. And grass is'nt
treated with herbicides etc
Commercial Milk in the main, comes from grain-fed cows or where their diet has been compromised.
And it is Pasteurized through a heat process that makes it Acidic instead of Alkaline. In addition to
that, they Homogenize this milk so the cream won't settle on the top - like it did in our grandparent's day.
But they were more healthy than us.....were they not?
Their meat was grass-fed and their eggs were free-range as well.
These days, the Government authorities and Medical Profession have tied themselves in knots
over isolated instances, and they have also been heavily influenced by Food and Primary Manufacturers
who cut corners in mass production with their greed for the dollar.
Yes, your dollar and my dollar and Our Health!!!
Because, did you know that acidic milk and milk products are not really good for you?
It can produce health problems with some people.
For your information and not persuasion I have included the following part-articles for you
by the Western Price Real Milk Foundation.
Dairy is a sensitive issue I feel for most. You deserve to know what Real Milk & Milk products
have to offer you.
In some countries, it has been made illegal to sell unpasteurized milk and products
but you can possibly buy Cow-Shares so you can have real milk delivered or pick it up from a Co-Op
This is becoming quite popular in some areas.
Why You Don't Want to Drink Pasteurized Milk
There is no substitute for clean, raw milk as a food, so far as children are concerned. Science has not yet succeeded in providing, in the pasteurized variety, those essential qualities that are the only real foundation for a healthy child.
A Minister of
Agriculture recently stated, "the human race existed long before
Pasteurized was heard of."
If we are to be compelled to drink pasteurized milk, we should at least understand what pasteurization means. It set out to accomplish two things: Destruction of certain disease-carrying germs and the prevention of souring milk. These results are obtained by keeping the milk at a temperature of 145 degrees to 150 degrees F for half an hour, at least, and then reducing the temperature to not more than 55 degrees F.
It is undoubtedly beneficial to destroy dangerous germs, but pasteurization does more than this--it kills off harmless and useful germs alike, and by subjecting the milk to high temperatures, destroys some nutritious constituents.
After pasteurization, the lactic acid bacilli are killed. The milk, in consequence, cannot become sour and quickly decomposes, while undesirable germs multiply very quickly.
One vital fact that seems to have been completely missed is that it is CLEAN, raw milk that is wanted. If this can be guaranteed, no other form of food for children can, or should, be allowed to take its place.
Certified Grade A Milk, produced under Government supervision and guaranteed absolutely clean, is available practically all over the country and is the dairy farmer's answer to the pasteurization zealots.
Besides destroying part of the vitamin C contained in raw milk and encouraging growth of harmful bacteria, pasteurization turns the sugar of milk, known as lactose, into beta-lactose, which is far more soluble and therefore more rapidly absorbed in the system, with the result that the child soon becomes hungry again.
Why Butter is Better
Butter is a rich source of easily absorbed vitamin A, needed for a wide range of functions, from maintaining good vision to keeping the endocrine system in top shape.Butter also contains all the other fat-soluble vitamins (D, E and K2), which are often lacking in the modern industrial diet.
Butter is rich in important trace minerals, including manganese, chromium, zinc, copper and selenium (a powerful antioxidant). Butter provides more selenium per gram than wheat germ or herring. Butter is also an
Fatty Acids ...
..um-chain fatty acids, which support immune function, boost metabolism and have anti-microbial properties; that is, they fight against pathogenic microorganisms in the intestinal tract.Butter also provides the perfect balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fats. Arachidonic acid in butter is important for brain function, skin health and prostaglandin balance.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) ...
When butter comes from cows eating green grass, it contains high levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), a compound that gives excellent protection against cancer and also helps your body build muscle rather
than store fat.
These are a special category of fatty acids that protect against gastrointestinal infections, especially in the very young and the elderly. Children given reduced-fat milks have higher rates of diarrhea than those
who drink whole milk.
Despite all of the misinformation you may have heard, cholesterol is needed to maintain intestinal health and for brain and nervous system development in the young.
Wulzen Factor ...
A hormone-like substance that prevents arthritis and joint stiffness, ensuring that calcium in your body is put into your bones rather than your joints and other tissues. The Wulzen factor is present only in raw butter and cream; it is destroyed by pasteurization.
milk destroys enzymes, diminishes vitamins,
denatures fragile milk proteins, destroys vitamin B12 and vitamin B6,
kills beneficial bacteria, and actually promotes pathogens.

DR OZ IS CONCERNED ABOUT NEW MOVES BY DAIRY INDUSTRY
RE FLAVORED MILK, SOUR CREAM AND YOGURTS CONTAINING 'HIDDEN ASPARTAME'.
April 2013 - The dairy
industry wants to put artificial sweeteners in your milk
products without a label! Should
that be allowed? Do you
have the right to know
Here are some tips for busy parents from the Environmental Working Group:
- Read the label. Always read ingredient labels and avoid products that have too many chemicals you’ve never heard of, or a really, really long list. Go simple when you can.
- Go organic. Organic milk is not produced with pesticides or added hormones. Artificial sweeteners like aspartame are not allowed.
- Plain is best. Skip the flavored milk, if possible, or allow it only as a special treat. Some flavored milks can contain as much sugar as half a dozen cookies.
- Go for plain or unsweetened yogurts and cottage cheeses. Skip flavored, “light” and “lite” yogurts. They are often loaded with sugar, artificial sweeteners and additives. Instead, add fresh fruit to your plain yogurt or cottage cheese.

They've scared everyone away from Raw Milk. You too?
Here's a little secret you might not have known about ...
HI HELEN and MARK
ALL THE VERY BEST TO YOU!
SO WHAT ABOUT DAIRY PRODUCTS? PERSONALLY, I AM NOT A MILK DRINKER
BECAUSE I CAN'T TAKE TO IT SINCE EARLY YEARS. I DO HOWEVER LIKE TO MAKE MY OWN
NATURAL YOGURT SOMETIMES. I ALSO ENJOY THE OCCASIONAL PIECE OF FETA CHEESE
WITH OLIVES AND VINTAGE CHEESE WITH CRACKERS. I HAVE PLANS TO MAKE MY OWN
'ALMOND AND COCONUT MILK'......SO I WON'T INFLUENCE YOU EITHER WAY.
TO COMPLETE THIS PAGE, I HAVE PLACED THE PDF
WITH INFORMATION HERE PRESENTING ANOTHER VIEW FOR YOUR CONSIDERATIONS
I LEAVE IT FOR YOU TO DECIDE WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU.
I think it is right to present both schools of thought about Milk
because of the evidence my friends have experienced in their family's health
since they commenced a Raw Milk Cow-Share Dairy Program 10 Yrs ago.
And Grass Fed Dairy Butter being much better for you
than the likes of nasty Margarine and Soft Spreads.
Also the many health conscious individuals whose health has
benefited considerably since they stopped consuming milk
and go for greens etc for their Calcium etc
and they make (genuine) nut milks etc
Don't trust store bought and don't trust Soy!
What do I do?
I like to use use Grass Fed Butter.....enjoy Homemade Yogurt sometimes
and a small amount of Vintage Cheese occasionally. So I do have some dairy
but never liked to drink milk. So I don't have much dairy.
Coconut Oil (in it's solid state) makes a delicious spread, I enjoy also.
And I enjoy Almond Milk occasionally.
For economy, you can make Rice Milk with almonds or coconut added.
IT'S YOUR CHOICE ENTIRELY, WHAT YOU DECIDE IS RIGHT FOR YOU!
AT LEAST YOU KNOW THAT RAW MILK IS TO BE PREFERRED TO COMMERCIAL
AND THAT DAIRY FOODS ARE NOT ESSENTIAL TO GOOD HEALTH.
THAT IS A COMMERCIAL FALLACY.
