Health Alerts - Choose Wisely - True Facts and Fallacies
Over-the-Counter pharmacy meds are not usually the way to go.
And neither is antibiotic after antibiotic.
Many GP/MDs prescribe them like confectionery.
That weakens our Immune System
and also builds up a resistance to antibiotics
if something really serious comes up.

Usually most times, you are better with Natural Treatments anyway!

I'm commencing this page this evening and will continue.
(28th - 31st December 2017)

CAUTION: Like many Natural Health Professionals,
I do Not endorse the use of Flu - Vaccines
because they are proven to be Perilous to our Health!

You will be far better off with Natural Remedies!

PLEASE DO REMEMBER THAT SLEEP DEPREVATION
CAN LEAD TO A COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM.
ARE ALL THOSE LATE TV NIGHTS
AND SKIPPING A GOOD HEALTHY BREAKFAST WORTH THAT?

DURING A PROPER NIGHT'S SLEEP
OUR BODY CARRIES OUT CERTAIN IMPORTANT TASKS
WHICH DO NOT TAKE PLACE WHEN WE ARE AWAKE.
OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM IS INVOLVED IN SOME SOME OF THESE!

One of my favourite personal remedies:

Make a cup of Fenugreek Tea with one teaspoon of Fenugreek Seeds
(This takes much better than dried fenugreek)
Add fresh juice from half a Lemon
And one teaspoon of genuine Natural Honey.
Sip a little of this gradually over 15-20 minutes.

I have passed this on to several friends who let me know
It has helped them with a cold and improved the coughing.

I make sure to keep some next to me.

Have two or three cups a day!

Do not have dairy products for 10-14 days
Cut back on wheat products like bread etc
Because these make mucous.

Sugar and Refined Vegetable Oils
are mucous forming too
so cut them out.

Lemon Juice and Honey Mixture. Lime and honey mixture makes for an excellent throat relieving alternative. A great remedy for inflamed throats, your sore throat will soon feel better as the inflammation reduces. This mixture will also cool down your aggravated throat apart from thinning any congestion.

Ginger, or Honey Tea. A superb way to calm an irritated and itchy throat, a hot cuppa of ginger or honey tea is a great way of aiding your throat to feel better. Sip tea when inhaling the steam from the cup, and it will aid in loosening congestion and tightness of the chest. Honey will coat the throat and will help in preventing irritation, which is the main reason behind coughing fits.
